Kilometers for Kindness
Honor 58k is named in memory of the 58 angels lost during the Route 91 Country Music Festival in Las Vegas on October 1, 2017. It was created not only as a way to honor them but also to support survivors like ourselves.
This challenge encourages participants to run, bike, walk, hike, swim - whatever is necessary to complete a distance of 58k for those who are no longer are able. As the organizers we will be running twelve 5k races in the 2018 season, dedicating a kilometer for each of the 58 angels while supporting causes in our community. A list of races we will be participating in will be posted on this page. Please join us in whatever races you can even if its just to cheer us on! Love from the sidelines is ALWAYS appreciated. Hate cannot win. We must emerge together, in unity, and rise each other up. Be the change you want to see in the world. While completing this challenge, you will be supporting important causes in your community. Show your support by purchasing a shirt to wear during your own 58k for your chosen sport. Proceeds will be donated to #LOVEWINS, a charity supporting Route 91 victims and their families. Learn more at http://lovewinsofficial.org. Thank you for your support! |
